A group of Year 5&6 children enjoyed a visit to BBC Radio Lancashire today. The children received a grand tour and had the opportunity to interview producers and presenters. They watched a live segment be recorded and got a 'shout out' live on air! They then recorded their own radio show along with a specially made Avondale jingle. We will use all the information gathered on this visit to set up Avondale radio, so watch this space!
