The children of Avondale Primary School are celebrating the 'King's Coronation' in style today. Throughout the day, they will be taking part in the following activities:
Creating 'Seed Bombs' as King Charles is a known environmentalist and horticulturalist.
To embrace King Charles’ passion for photography, children will have their pictures taken in a 'photo booth' and in turn, will receive a keepsake photo to take home.
As the King is a keen painter, portraits will be created and the best two will be taken to Erin's Place to have them re-created onto a REAL plate.
King Charles is known for advocating volunteering and therefore each class will volunteer to improve an area around our school grounds.
And of course, it wouldn't be a 'British Celebration' without our children taking part in traditional games as well as having a good old picnic!
