This half term there has been a buzz in school with every child from years 1-6 learning and performing a poem. They have learnt about using expression, pace, articulation and volume in a performance. They have performed in their classes, in their year groups and across key stages. It was a difficult decision but a winner was chosen from each year group. Yesterday in assembly, the winners performed in front of all the school and members of their family. All the performers were amazing and captivated the audience. They were awarded a certificate and pineapple of bravery for their performances. Well done! Year 3-6 winners will take a part in a Blackburn with Darwen School competition at Blackburn Library on Wednesday. Good luck to them all!
