2F had a great afternoon interviewing some key eye witnesses from the Great Fire of London such as Samuel Pepys, King Charles II, Thomas Farriner and a brave firefighter who tried to put the fire out! We learnt what an eyewitness is and why there are important in helping us understand the past. We were able to read some old newspapers and look at old paintings and engravings of London from 1666 as well as look at a firefighter's bucket and hat from 1666.
